Fleet and Trucking Fuel Equipment
This page gathers fleet fueling equipment for trucking companies, delivery fleets and service fleets that fuel at their own yard. A typical setup is a double wall diesel tank with a metered pump or dispenser, a DEF tank beside it, and bulk oil and used oil storage in the shop. Fueling on site lets a fleet buy in bulk, track fuel by vehicle and cut trips to retail stations.
How to choose
- Main tank: size the fleet fuel tank to your weekly use and delivery schedule. Fuel tanks with pumps give you a complete station in one order.
- DEF: newer diesel trucks typically use DEF. Add DEF tanks, heated if your winters get cold.
- Metering: a meter or dispenser records each fill by truck, which helps with cost control.
- Road service: service pickups carry fuel to breakdowns and equipment with fuel transfer tanks.
Common questions
Does on-site fuel storage need permits?
Usually. The fire marshal reviews tank type and location, and the EPA SPCC rule can apply once a site stores more than 1,320 gallons of oil products above ground.
Can you deliver to more than one yard?
Each order ships to the business address you choose, and prices include freight in the lower 48 states.
