Diesel Storage Tanks
Every diesel storage tank in this collection is an above-ground steel tank suited to diesel, from small skid tanks to bulk tanks for fleet yards. Many can also hold gasoline, and each product page shows the fuels and listing. Trucking fleets, farms, contractors and equipment yards use a diesel fuel storage tank to buy in bulk and fuel on site.
How to choose
- Water control: diesel picks up water through condensation. Plan regular water checks and a way to drain water from the bottom of the tank.
- Filtration: a filter at the pump protects injectors. Check whether the pump package includes one.
- Biodiesel: if you store biodiesel blends, confirm the tank, pump, hoses and seals are rated for them.
- Cold weather: diesel can thicken and plug filters in the cold. Ask your supplier about winter blends.
Common questions
How do I keep stored diesel in good condition?
Keep water out, filter at the pump and use fuel before it sits too long. Sites that hold diesel for long periods often add a fuel polishing system.
Do I need DEF storage too?

Is a pump included?
Some tanks come as complete pump packages. Others are tank only, and the product page says which.
